※ 자비유학 신청기간을 놓쳐 학점인정을 받지 못하는 사례가 발생하지 않도록 반드시 신청기간을 확인하여 주시기 바랍니다.

4. 유의사항
가. 자비유학 학점인정은 반드시 사전 승인을 받고 유학한 경우에만 가능하며, 신청기간 이후 신청은 지원이 불가합니다.
나. 귀국 후 과목별 학점이 기재된 성적표 제출이 가능한 경우에만 학점인정 신청이 가능합니다.
다. 단과대학 및 국제교류팀에서 선발되어 협정교에 자비유학을 신청할 경우, 해당 학생은 위 제출서류를 제출하지 않아도 됩니다.
라. 안내문 외 자세한 내용은 붙임의 시행세칙을 참고하여 주시기 바랍니다.

The Office of International Affairs is accepting applications for self-funded study abroad for the 2026 Summer Session and the 2026 Fall Semester. Students who wish to apply should complete the application within the designated period.
※ Please make sure to check the application period carefully, as students who miss the application deadline may not be able to receive credit recognition.

※ Students must apply during the application period for the relevant program type. Applications submitted outside the designated period will not be accepted.
※ Students on a leave of absence who wish to apply for self-funded study abroad during a regular semester must first complete their return-to-school application and then apply during the 2nd round application period.

3. Required Documents
A. Application Form for Self-Funded Study Abroad
※ Complete the application in HY-in and print it out.
B. Copy of the Letter of Admission from the host university
※ If the document is not in English, a Korean or English translation must be included.
C. Semester-by-Semester Academic Transcript
※ Submit after signing next to the student’s name.
D. Recommendation Letter from Academic Advisor
※ Korean or English; free format
4. Important Notes
A. Credit recognition for self-funded study abroad is only available when the student has received prior approval before studying abroad. Applications submitted after the application period will not be accepted.
B. Credit recognition may be requested only if the student can submit an official transcript showing the credits earned for each course after returning to Korea.
C. Students selected by their college or the Office of International Affairs to study at a partner university through self-funded study abroad do not need to submit the documents listed above.
